Migrated everything from gyrate.org to messagebored.org. I've liked the name Messagebored for a site like this for about 20 years but domains with good TLDs were never available. When I saw the .org was unregistered last week, I immediately bought it and started swapping everything over. If the .com ever becomes available, I'll pick that one up too. Now I have a new goal to make Google say "Did you mean: messagebored" whenever someone searches for "message board."
Gyrate.org is back to being my personal domain, so I made a little splash page with links for losers and stalkers to find out what I'm currently up to on the internets. From now on, think of Gyrate as a very unprofitable company I'm the CTO of, and any new projects I'm working on will be listed over there.
Spent a bunch of time making things more search engine friendly and submitting the new domain to search engines. It already seems to be doing better.
The official @gyratedotorg X account now has a blue check, and I'm going to be spending more time shitposting there as an experiment in guerrilla marketing (the 4chan stuff obviously wasn't working).
